The Quebec Aces are the 2022-23 FHL Champions as they defeated Long Island 4 games to 1.
The Aces were down by one goal after 2 periods and things look uncertain for the game. However, the Aces’ big line does just that; come up big. Barkov scores the 2 biggest goal of the team’s history to make it a 3-2 game. Moore makes it 4-2 a short time later and it is game over.
Six players for the Aces score 8 or more goals in the playoffs. None was more important than Yanni Gourdes’ [pictured left] overtime winner in game four in the first series against Nunavut. Aces where down 3 games to none at the time. Unbelievable they would go one to win the whole thing. Barkov wins the Playoffs MVP honors as he led the Aces with 13 goals in the 26 games played.

Final 2021-22 FHL Standings
The Florida Breakers are the 2020-21 FHL Champions!
The Florida Breakers defeated the Norfolk Pirates in game 5 of the FHL Cup Final 4 to 3. The Breakers erased a 3-1 Norfolk lead after 40 minutes. Jack Eichel’s 5th goal of the playoffs at 18:22 of period number three, was the game winning & cup clinching goal. The Breakers GM Doug Grahm and his team win their first of what may be multiple FHL cups! This roster is loaded and most of the players are in their prime! The rest of the FHL better get busy and add the missing pieces to their rosters and try and stop this dynasty before it is too late.
